How it works

Three signals, one position.

Sensor fusion

A Kalman-filter pipeline reconciles three independent sources every cycle, so a dropout in one is covered by the others.

  • 01 GNSS position and velocity
  • 02 Inertial motion - accelerometer and gyro at 50 Hz
  • 03 Vehicle speed and RPM from the OBD2 stream

Adaptive sensor profiles

Phone IMUs vary wildly. TrueNorth ships 90+ device profiles that pre-calibrate noise characteristics per handset, with on-device learning to refine the fit over your first few sessions.
